Places and Spaces Reimagined
January 17 – April 23, 2022

This exhibition features two mixed media artists, Cheryl Molar and Rasa Valine, who’s work combine often photographic representation of places that they feel a personal connection to, with structural elements that alter the literal landscape image by integrating individual existential views. Working
with patterns man-made and found in nature, the artists lead the viewer to “Places and Spaces Reimagined.”

Rasa Valine imposes structure onto views of familiar places. Her thoughts and process lead to a more internal, less tangible journey. Her combination of photography and painting intensify nature- made repetitions creating irregular lace-like patterns that reach out from forms found in the
environment in search of connection; perhaps echoing her own perceptions when experiencing the depth of beauty inherent in nature.
